The Forest Darkens

It's getting darker in the forest. Not only are the days shortening, but the infection rate seems to be climbing inexorably.   The righthand chart shows the totals climbing every week, all week. The three-line graph demonstrates that being in Tier 2 is not as effective as Lockdown 2 in restricting transmission of this highly infectious virus. If East Suffolk wants to get through this without being thrown into Tier 3, we must keep the anti-CV barriers up - Social distancing, + masks, + hand-washing, + household separation, + ventilation (outdoors is easiest way), and soon, + vaccination.  

Local hospitals are near capacity, workers on the edge of burn-out, and we haven't even reached the usual peak-time.   We all have to take responsibility. Keep wearing masks, don't mix, socially distance. In the High Street, in the shops, in the queues, in the coffee shops, in the gym.
