The Street That Saves

The High Street has been accepted onto The Street That Saved challenge!

The High Street is going head-to-head with Norfolk town Thetford.

During August, if you join us, you'll be asked to save food waste, do some fun challenges, and save money. The Street that Saves the most will win, as well as helping yourself and the planet.

Win: £50, plus £50 worth of products and save up to £730 over the course of the year! Oh, and they’ll be a mega bonus prize for the street that saves the most.

Help the planet: Food that could have been eaten but gets thrown away in the UK has a carbon footprint of one in five cars on the road. Sign up to find out how to park food waste on your street.

Get Social: Join our ‘Month of fun’. Go head to head with your neighbours in fun food challenges.

Your chance to shine: Selected Streets may feature on a popular telly series

Deadline is the 12th August to join in the fun.

Local organisers are Lorraine le Grice of Uncle Sid's Zero Waste Store, and John Ellerby, also a High Street resident.

You can pick up a leaflet from the store, email Lorraine on lorrainelegrice@hotmail.co.uk, or sign-up on line, or scan the QR code on the flyer.
